Description Thin Lizzy Black Rose Pencil Canvas This is my new canvas print of the original pencil drawing of Black Rose for Philip Lynott and boy did he love it the minute he saw it. I spent a few hours in my own garden and one of my neighbours who grew some beautiful roses and from the photos, I composed this drawing after a few false starts. As any Thin Lizzy fan will know this drawing became the template for the artwork for the final colour painting for the cover of the Black Rose album. One of my best and certainly the most iconic album artworks. PRINT DETAILS Full canvas size is 30”x30” (70 x70 cm). Canvas is mounted on a thick block wooden stretcher and canvas is wrapped around the sides and pinned on back. Shipped in protected packing Please note any damage to the canvas while in transit will be covered by insurance and will be replaced by myself, Jim FitzPatrick, the artist, without further cost.
