It all started with the search for a blend of polymers that would allow the San Colombano Certenoli-based company to produce fins with similar performance to those in carbon fibre and glass, while eliminating the well-known problems of the fragility of these composites. They have therefore arrived at a compound with unprecedented mechanical characteristics that Seacsub?s design and production experience has transformed into a new technology dedicated to the production of even more high-performance fin blades. FRC&trade – Fully Responsive Compound technology has therefore responded to all Seacsub?s production requirements:- Negative fins and fin blades that are thinner than their technopolymer predecessors thanks to the material?s fluidity and specific weight. The product design exploits the mechanical properties of the compound for an elastic response similar to that of carbon and glass fibre. No risk of breakage or permanent deformation of the blade due to the compound?s high resilience, high yield and tear strength, even at low temperatures.
