Description Celtia was originally a collection of black and white line art, with the cover of Ériu and the colour-separated version of Milesius and Scota as the only colour artworks. 15 Prints! My biggest portfolio EVER! This new portfolio includes 2 fully colored painted artworks of Ériu and Állie, an exact reproduction of the original Milesius and Scota print, the two colour poster versions of Diarmuid and Gráinne and Conán of the Fianna (two of my most popular artworks ever!), two line art reproductions of Macha and Morrigan which were originally posters printed on silver paper, making these exactly how I always wanted them, and finally the digitally remastered Nuada of the Silver Arm. The portfolio also includes 7 of the black and white line artworks beautifully reproduced on parchment paper. It’s such a dream to have complete control over every aspect of the reproductions of my art so that when I look at them, I can admire them for their beauty and truth. In my opinion, these can not be improved upon! There is also a double page with all the descriptions and notes about the artworks, and an introduction page which is exactly as it was in the original, with a brief biography of Jim FitzPatrick. And that’s not all! The original colour print of Milesius and Scota and the impressive double page spread of Nuada of the Silver Arm, taken from the original Celtia book of 1975, are also included. This is one hell of a collection, and any fan of my art will love it! These artworks tell some of the stories of our ancient Irish mythology, with the main focus on the mystical Tuatha De Danann, whom I have been obsessed with my entire life. This portfolio was designed by my son, Redmond, and all of the prints were printed by him in my studio. This is a small family business production, and your support is what makes all of this possible. This is portfolio one. I want to recreate Celtia as completely as possible.
