Miyuki Japanese Glass Drop Beads – teardrop shaped fringe seed beads. Measurement: 3.4mm x 3mm with a 0.65mm hole. Approximately 18 beads per gram. Uses: Drops work excellent for fringe or bead weaving designs, or spacers in right angle weave designs. They are excellent waist beads. Quantity: 9 Gram Tube – Approximately 160 beads. Color: Crystal AB DP-250. Miyuki Drop beads are an extraordinary teardrop shaped bead with a hole at the narrow tip of the bead. The rounded bottom end catches light and creates a glowing effect at any angle. The small drop beads are used to add fine detail in fringe, bead weaving and stringing. They are often used as surface embellishment in bead embroidery. Drop beads are also frequently included in more complex designs using spiral stitch and picot lace techniques.
